PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To turn the power of both a remote controller and an information processor off at a specific time according to a command sent from the remote controller. SOLUTION: The remote controller 30 is equipped with a transmission part 32 which sends data, a reception part 31 which receives data, an ID number storage part 36 which stores the ID number for uniquely recognizing the remote controller itself, an ID confirmation part 37 which judges whether received data are proper, a timer count part 34 which sets how long the power supply is held, a power switch 42 for turning off the power source of its own circuit, and a communication control part 35 which controls those individual parts. Consequently, the power source is turned off when a signal having the matching ID number is not received from a TV main body side for a specific time set in the timer count part 34, that is, once the count value of the time count part 34 reaches '0'.
