PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a telephone set that can easily correct a wrongly dialed number without the need for hooking on (line interrupt), when the wrong dial number is entered. SOLUTION: The telephone set 10 is provided with a key operation section 11, a system control circuit 12, a latch circuit 13, a dial generating section 14, a timer control section 15, and a timer circuit 16 and is configured such that the latch circuit 13 temporarily latches a dial number depressed by an operator, so as to delay a time until the latched dial number is outputted to a line.
