<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a system which can call a waiting person at optimum time. SOLUTION: When the clinical consultation of one patient ends, a clinical consultation end sign is sent. When the sign is sent, a computer calculates the remaining time before a waiting person is called according to a mean consultation time, the number of waiting persons, and a necessary time, compares the remaining time with an elapsed time to judge whether or not the waiting person is contacted, and calls the waiting person when judging that the contact is necessary. Consequently, the calling time is calculated each time the consultation of one patient ends, so an optimum calling time can be set and the waiting time of a patient in a waiting room can be minimized. Further, the waiting person is automatically contacted under the control of the computer, so the load of office work on a hospital side is lightened.</p> |
