<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To perform calling with a subscriber telephone set while using a web browser. SOLUTION: The home page of a web browser 11 in a call center 10 is accessed from a client terminal 20 while using a web browser 21. Afterwards, when a user ID and a password are inputted, the telephone directory of users is displayed. When the destination is selected out of the telephone directory, a call server 12 instructs call originating to a gateway 102. The gateway 103 originates a call through an interconnection point 51 and a subscriber telephone network 50 to a subscriber telephone 60 of the destination. When the subscriber telephone 60 responds, calling is performed between a call client 22 of the client terminal 20 and the subscriber telephone set 60.</p> |
