PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a reproducing device for vehicle which can display appropriately discrimination name for discriminating music data to be reproduced and the like. SOLUTION: When a disk to be reproduced is discriminated as a CR-R and the like, a processing control section sets 'CD-R' to a 'disk kind' (step S15). When it is discriminated that PVD is already recorded, it is discriminated whether a file of a MP3 form exists or not (step S21). When it is discriminated that the file of the MP3 form exists. the processing control section sets 'MP3' to a 'data kind' (step S22), reads out PVD, and retrieves a file of a holder (step S23). A file name by which a retrieved file is discriminated and the like are set on a text table (step S24). The processing control section displays file name and the like on a display section at the time of reproducing music data conforming to the generated text table.
