PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prolong the service life of a semiconductor disk. SOLUTION: In this semiconductor disk for which a flash memory for performing rewrite by a block unit is a storage medium, in addition to a data memory for storing at least file data, a substituting memory for substituting the erroneous block of the data memory, an error memory for storing the error information of the data memory and a memory controller for performing the read, write and erasure of the data memory, the substituting memory and the error memory are provided. Thus, since the write error of the flash memory is relieved, the service life of the semiconductor disk is prolonged.
