PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To perform data transmission and reception while reducing network traffic in an inexpensive constitution requiring no exclusive hardware or software. SOLUTION: This network facsimile machine is provided with a storing means for storing data to be transmitted in a storage area, an HTML generating means for generating an HTML file of the list information of items including the document names of the data stored by the storing means in document structure description language, a WWW server means for transmitting the document structure description language file to a terminal being the origin of access, and a control means for executing the transmission processing of the data stored by the storing means when a transmission instruction is issued from the terminal. Thus, it is possible to use an Internet while reducing network traffic at low costs in a simple constitution requiring no exclusive terminal for operating server software.
