PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To accurately prevent image-rubbing, caused by the sagging of a recording material and a trailing end springing phenomenon before a fixation process for a fixation device, where a fixation belt is wound around a pressure roller so that a fixation nip part becomes longer. SOLUTION: The fixing belt 508 is stretched to be laid between the fixing roller 502 and a heat roller 506, and a pressure roller 512 is brought into press contact with the fixing roller 502, so as to form a 2nd fixation process part N2 as the fixing nip part, and also, on the entrance side of a transfer paper 514, the fixing belt 508 is wound on the pressure roller 512 by an auxiliary roller 516 to form a 1st fixation process part N1 as the fixation nip part. An angleθ, formed by the tangent B of the pressure roller 512 at the recording material entrance of the 1st fixation process part N1 and the tangent C of the fixation belt 508, is set so as to satisfy the condition 10 deg.<=θ.
