PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a transaction processor which can print a receipt with print size larger than normal print size for a customer who hardly read small characters like the aged and with the normal print size for other customers and obtains both the visibility of the receipt and the reduction of the consumption of receipt forms. SOLUTION: An electronic cash register 10 is equipped with a receipt print part 110, a normal character font database 111, an enlarged character font database 112, an article input part 130 which comprises a bar code reader, etc., and inputs a purchased article code, an article database 131 which stores data for calculating the amount of an article from an article code, a clearing button 132 for indicating the completion of one transaction, a print changeover button 135 for temporarily switching a receipt print font, and a mode changeover switch 136 for switching the mode, and prints a receipt by switching the font between normal characters and enlarged characters in response to the indication of the mode changeover switch.
