PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent an electric circuit and an electronic circuit, which can realize sensing, in an electric load coupled to an AC power line, from being damaged. SOLUTION: A device and a method for attenuating a high frequency transient current on an AC power line are provided. The AC power line has ground and an electric load has electric load ground. A continuous attenuator circuit which is electrically connected between ground and the electric load is used for attenuating high frequency transition. The continuous attenuator circuit includes plural toroid cores and the signal continuous strands of wires which are continuously wound around the plural toroid cores for many times.
