PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an electrophotographic photoreceptor member having high mechanical strength, capable of constituting a monolayer photoreceptor with a reduced cost and capable of forming a photoreceptor having high sensitivity and low residual potential and to provide an apparatus for producing the member. SOLUTION: The electrophotographic photoreceptor member is (1) a member with a BP:H layer containing at least B, P and H and having 30-50 at.% B, 30-50 at.% P and 0.5-30 at.% H, based on the amount of all the constituent elements, on an electrically conductive substrate, (2) a member with at least a photoconductive layer containing hydrogen-containing fine carbon particles of 0.3-1,000 nm average particle diameter dispersed in an amorphous intergranular material containing at least carbon and hydrogen on an electrically conductive substrate or (3) a member with a photoconductive layer containing a multiple oxide of groups IB and IIIB elements in which the ratio between the atomicity of oxygen and that of the group IB element is 1:(0.4-0.6) and the ratio between the atomicity of oxygen and that of the group IIIB element is 1:(0.4-0.6) on an electrically conductive substrate. |
