PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a cleaning-less electrophotographic image forming device giving good image quality nearly free from image blurring, black spots and fog, an electrophotographic image forming method using the device and a process cartridge. SOLUTION: In the cleaning-less electrophotographic image forming device in which a step for electrifying an electrophotographic photoreceptor with a photosensitive layer and a surface layer on an electrically conductive substrate by bringing an electrifying member into contact with the photoreceptor and applying voltage, a step for forming an electrostatic latent image by imagewise exposure, a developing step in which the electrostatic latent image is made visible with a toner and a step for transferring the resulting visible toner image to a transfer material are carried out and the toner remaining on the photoreceptor after the transfer step is recovered by a developing step, the peeling rate of the photoreceptor is <=65% and the saturated water content of the toner in an environment at 30 deg.C and 80% RH is 0.1-2.0 mass %. |
