MUSICAL SOUND GENERATING DEVICE

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To enable a listener to clearly hear an alarm sound through a musical sound generating device having a function which is built in object equipment and adds sound effect and a function which generates a sound and plays BGM. SOLUTION: A sound source substrate 14 is provided with a series accumulation part 58 and a DSP60. Musical sound signals of a series 1 and a series 2 generated through sound generation channels of the sound source substrate 14 are inputted to the series accumulation part 58 and accumulated by the series, and then outputted to the DSP60. The DSP60 adds sound effect to only the musical sound signal of the series 2 between the musical sound signals of the series 1 and 2 by an effect circuit 62 and a reverberation circuit 64 and adds no sound effect ot the musical sound signal of the series 1. Consequently, no sound effect is given to the alarm sound based upon the musical sound signal of the series 1.
