PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To increase reliability in a power supply unit using an inverter circuit having a partial smoothing power circuit by preventing large stress from being produced in a switching element. SOLUTION: This power supply unit is provided with the inverter circuit which includes at least one switching element Q2 and converts an AC power source E rectified through a rectifier DB into AC high-frequency power to be supplied to loads La1, La2, the partial smoothing power circuit constituted of a capacitor C6 charged by ON/OFF operation of the switching element Q2, and a control circuit 1 which generally uniforms current flowing through the switching element Q2 when the switching element Q2 is turned on before the oscillation of the inverter circuit starts, charges the capacitor C6 so as to become a prescribed voltage value or higher. |
