PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To use a text classifying engine to automatically analyze questionnaire answers according to questionnaire answer texts which are collected via a network and include free answer descriptions in a natural language and to output the analysis result to a requester as knowledge in a rule format. SOLUTION: Answerers to questionnaires transmit questionnaire answer the texts through answerer computers 111 to 11N. Questionnaire answer texts are stored in a database 13 via a network 12. A text classifying engine 14 reads out stored questionnaire answer texts from the database 13 and learns a rule for classifying questionnaire answer texts and outputs it to the requester.
