VEHICLE FARE RECEPTION SYSTEM FOR TOLL ROAD

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a vehicle fare reception system which can display an accurate fare by securing coincidence of display at all times between the traffic fare of a toll road calculated by a fare calculation/display means that is mounted on a vehicle and the actual traffic fare. SOLUTION: This vehicle fare reception system is applied to the toll roads and provided with an on-vehicle fare calculation/display means which calculates and displays the traffic fare of a toll road where a vehicle passed and an automatic fare reception device provided on the toll road. When a vehicle pass decision means decides the pass of a vehicle by the automatic fare reception device, the fare information received from the automatic fare reception device is shown on the display means in preference to the fare information on the fare calculation/display means.
