PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a rotating electric machine which is provided with a cooling fan and capable of correcting its unbalance without exerting an adverse influence on a regular magnetic characteristic. SOLUTION: The rotating electric machine 6 is provided with a rotary shaft 8, an armature 9 and the fan 11 which are fixed to the shaft 8. In the annular part 23 of the fan 11, a correcting part 25 continuous annularly is formed so as to thicken the thickness of its whole circumference. By scraping a part of this correcting part 25 off, unbalance is corrected.
