PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a small-sized view finder device of a video camera capable of being miniaturized. SOLUTION: A lens holder 101 in a box shape and an LCD holder 102 are slidable back and forth by the fitting of respective inner side and outer side. A part of the upper surface of the lens holder is set sufficiently longer than the entire length of the LCD holder, an oblong hole 109 is provided and fitted to a guide pin 111 caulked to the LCD holder and a backlash at the time of pulling out the lens holder 101 is prevented. Dimension relation in which the extension part of the lens holder upper surface gets between the upper surface of a lens unit and an exterior 113 in a finder housed state is attained. Attaching bosses 108 are installed on both side faces of the LCD holder 102 and fixation is performed by machine screws 114 from the outer side of both side faces of the exterior 113. A part interfering with the attaching boss 108 by the sliding operation of the slide holder is relieved by providing notched parts 106 on both side faces.
