PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To eliminate the infeasibility of the efficient utilization of a space in the thickness direction of the device and the difficulty in the increase of the number of stockable sheets of disks within limited external forms and dimensions with the disk changer for selectively reproducing the disks of a stocker which stocks the disks by holding the disks in the peripheral parts of their central holes and coaxially laminating the disks. SOLUTION: The disk changer is so constituted that the centers of rotation of the disks during reproducing exist in the positions apart by the hole diameters of the central holes of the disks or more with respect to the coaxial line of the disks laminated within the stocker. A transporting means which transports the disks between the stock position and the reproducing position is disposed aside from a transporting section which transmits the disks between a disk insertion and removal port and the stock position of the stocker. The transporting means is so constituted that the transporting operation of the disks by the transporting and the holding operation of the disks are started by the movement of one member.
