PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To update and confirm the information set in a portable communication terminal from a remote site. SOLUTION: A telephone set 102 calls a portable radio terminal 107 to send a call origination request message to a communication network (step S312) and a call termination request message is sent to the portable radio terminal 107. The portable radio terminal 107 decides whether call terminal (step S313) is possible or not, and when the call termination is possible, a call termination response is sent out (step S317) to connect a communication line (step S317), then a call termination notification style update request message is sent from the telephone set 102 to the portable radio terminal 107, and according to the update request message, the portable radio terminal 107 updates the set information regarding the call termination notification (step S326).
