PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a cordless telephone set, with which even the user of a handset having no display part can easily know the telephone number of an interrupter during outside line speaking. SOLUTION: Concerning the cordless telephone set, which is composed of a base unit 2 connected to a telephone line 1 and a handset 3 connected with this base unit 2 by a radio channel, for displaying the telephone number of the interrupter on a display means 10 of the base unit 2 when an interrupt signal is transmitted during outside line speaking, on the side of the base unit 2, an audio converting means 11 is provided for converting the telephone number of the interrupter to audio signals and a transmitting means 6 is provided for transmitting the audio signals outputted from this audio converting means 11 to the side of the handset 3.
