A disk adapted for use in an analytical procedure requiring multiple reaction sites. The disk may be an optical or a digital video disk and comprises a plurality of spiral channels in the disk body, arranged as represented by Figure 1. Only two of the plurality of counterclockwise spiral channels are shown for clarity. The center portion of the disk is a circular fractionation zone for separating samples and the intersections of the spiral channels provide the plurality of reaction sites.
