AUTOMATIC CENTERING DEVICE OF VEHICLE STEERING SHAFT

PURPOSE: An automatic centering device of a vehicle steering shaft is provided to assemble a handle at an accurate position by an equipment fitting a center of the steering shaft, thereby reducing producing time and improving the reliability. CONSTITUTION: An automatic centering device(1) of a vehicle steering shaft includes a base frame formed with a first base mounted at the top side of a working truck(11) and moving to a vehicle by a moving motor, and a second base moving to a side direction crossing with the first base; second and third stoppers mounted at a front end of a vertical frame mounted on the top side of the first base for controlling "X" and "Y" axial direction positions of the centering device; a centering element installed at one end of a horizontal frame mounted at the upper end of the vertical frame and forward and backward rotating a coupling element coupled with a front end of the steering shaft for fitting a center when "X" and "Y" direction setting is completed; and a marking cylinder mounted at the upper part of the backed centering element completing setting of the centering element for marking the steering shaft to confirm the center position.
