摘要 <p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a charging cradle (46) for a mobile unit the use of which makes short distance wireless communication possible between a personal computer (10) and at least another short distance wireless communication capable electronic device (50). SOLUTION: This invention provides a charging cradle (46) for a mobile unit capable of short distance wireless communication that is provided with a short distance radio receiver (transceiver in this case adopting the Bluetooth) (44) and with an antenna (42) and is connected to the personal computer (10) via a data cable (12) by adding the receiver and the antenna to the charging cradle. The cradle capable of short distance wireless (radio frequency RF in this case) communication provided a system by which a legacy architecture personal computer can make communication with another mobile electronic device capable of short distance radio frequency communication. The communication above is available independently of whether or not another mobile electronic device capable of short distance radio frequency communication is connected to the cradle.</p>
