PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To realize a gas insulating switchgear that is compact and inexpensive. SOLUTION: Upward and downward from a part opposed to a position at ground potential of a conductor is the bushing covered with an insulator, and a grounding conductive layer on the surroundings of the insulator is provided as well as end portions of the insulator coupled with the insulator on both ends thereof in length corresponding to voltage class are provided and the grounding conductive layer is connected with ground potential.
