PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To constitute a recorder in such a manner that a plurality of recording information (tracks) recorded on a recording medium are continuously reproduced by each program. SOLUTION: The broadcasting data of reserved programs are automatically subjected to picture recording to the fresh tracks of a disk in accordance with the reserved programs written in the UTOC area of the disk or the non-volatile memory in the device (ST17 to ST22). The table-of-contents information of the fresh tracks is added to the table-of-contents information of the UTOC information stored in a RAM after the end of picture recording (ST23). The table-of-contents information of the plural tracks (recording information) is permutated on the RAM in such a manner that the recording information of the same attribute is continuously reproduced in accordance with the attributes of the recording information, for example, program names or the pair of the day of the week and the recording start time (ST24). The UTOC information subjected to the permutation processing of the table-of-contents information is thereafter written into the UTO area of the disk (ST25). A user is able to look and listen to the same program for, for example, plural weeks by continuously reproducing the same without making operation, such as skip.
