ARTICLE STORAGE DEVICE OF AUTOMATIC VENDING MACHINE

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an article storage device of an automatic vending machine which eliminates the need to provided a place housing an attachment for article passage width adjustment specially outside a column and which makes it possible to arrange the attachment for adjusting the width of a storage place for articles without any trouble. SOLUTION: The article storage device of the automatic vending machine is constituted by building a gate opening/closing mechanism 30 which can hold an article at a storage position by closing a gate 41 and a pusher mechanism 50, which pushes an article 21 forward by a pusher 51 in the column 22 where articles 21 are stored in array from the front to the rear, and further installing the gate opening/closing mechanism 40 in one side wall of the column 22. The attachment 61 for adjusting the width of the storage place of the articles 21 is housed in the space behind the gate opening/closing mechanism in the one side wall of the column 22 and the attachment 61 can move from its position A toward the article storage place.
