METHOD OF MANUFACTURING ANISOTROPIC CONDUCTIVE SHEET

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method of manufacturing an anisotropic conductive sheet exempt of a possibility that a metallic wire that should define a conductive path may be cut during manufacture. SOLUTION: A short piece 15 of an insulated Cu wire 13 with a polyimide insulated film 12 formed on a Cu wire 11 is electrostatically transplanted in a varnish-coated membrane 20 on a polyethylene terephthalate film 19. The varnish-coated membrane 20 is then solidified. The film 19 is then stripped and its both surfaces are ground to produce a sheet 23. Electroless Sn plating is formed on a surface at both ends of a conductive path 9 configured by the Cu wire 11.
