The invention relates to a process and an equipment employed in technically damaged drilling or production oil wells. The claimed workover process and equipment for damaged wells ensures the remote workover acting using a single equipment, the process consisting in taking over the slightly damaged parts by distance control with a sectional arm movable in both horizontal and vertical planes, removing the well structure by abrasive jet cutting, extinguishing the fire and replacing the damaged device in the wellhead. According to the invention, the workover equipment for damaged wells comprises a self-propelled flat carriage (1) wherein a cathead (15) provided with a pull cable (16) is mounted. Said carriage (1) is mounted on chain tracks (2) and provided with a sectional arm (5) with load cable (7), with an abrasive jet cutting device (B) and a subassembly with blades (A).
