PURPOSE: A dual mail banking service system and method is provided to enable a user to set a network account, where the user can transact cash with other real accounts, in a mail banking server, and select one between a general remittance via the network account and a rapid remittance from the network account to a real bank account. CONSTITUTION: The method comprises steps of a user subscribing for a member of a mail banking service(s10), the user registering data on a bank account and setting a network account in the mail banking system(s12), the user passing a user certification process in the mail banking system by using an ID, a resident registration number or a password(s14), the user selecting a sort of a remittance between a general remittance via the network account and a rapid remittance from the network account to a bank account of a recipient(s16), the user filling in a remittance message form by inputting a remittance request data(s18), the user transmitting the remittance message to an e-mail address or a mobile phone of the recipient(s20), and the mail banking server performing the general remittance via the network account or the rapid remittance from the network account to the recipient bank account if the recipient agrees to the remittance(s22).
