PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a manufacturing method of alkaline battery in which by adding non-ion surface-active agent or an amphoteric surface-active agent in the active material paste of the conductive substrate, the condensation of cobalt hydride or cobalt oxide is separated into the original fine particles and the utilization ratio of the active material is increased. SOLUTION: The powder of cobalt hydride or cobalt oxide is mixed with water and non-ion surface-active agent or amphoteric surface-active agent and is dispersed by a dispersing machine and the active material is kneaded, and an alkaline battery electrode is made which prevents the powder condensation. |
