PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an insulating coating material with an insulating coating film formed on a conductor, excellent in the close adhesion to the conductor, and excellent in the softness, flexibility, bending resistance, and flexure resistance, and an insulating coating material to obtain the insulating coating film. SOLUTION: In the insulating coating material, an insulating coating film made of a polyimide including a structure unit expressed in the following formula (1) and a structure unit expressed in the following formula (2) with the molar ratio of 20:80 to 90:10 is formed on a conductor. The insulating paint is made of a polyimide precursor solution in which a polyamic acid to be converted to the polyimide is dissolved as a solute. |
