PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a printer driver for performing binarization processing to transmit monochrome data for preventing the generation of dencity change in a print image after variable magnification to a printer in which dencity change is generated in an original upon binarizing a color image, and reducing a monochrome image expressed with a pseudo half tone. SOLUTION: When variable magnification is designated for a color image (S21, 22), a printer driver prepares dither matrixes (for example, (8×8) or (16×16) matrixes) in plural sizes of which image density expressed with a pseudo half tone is respectively different, and selectively applies (S24-31), and binarizes the matrix of which density after variable magnification is optimized to original image density according to the designated variable magnification. The optimal size corresponding to the variable magnification is preliminarily decided under the consideration of a variable magnification processing condition at the printer side. |
