The eye test system determines the degree of color deficiency in a user's eye. The system has a microprocessor controlled (12) system driving an optical unit (5). This has Blue, Green Orange and Red LED's (24) generating controlled light intensities. They are viewed (15) through a diffuser and optional slides (18). The user views white light and then each color of light that are switching on and off. Once an adjustment time has elapsed, the user varies the flicker frequency to identify the critical fusion frequency. The fusion points are related to that for white light to perform a normalization. |
