PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a screw type electronic component which can effectively prevent electromagnetic waves due to a common-mode current from being radiated to the outside by making the common-mode current generated in the printed wiring board of an electronic equipment flow out to a shielded case body. SOLUTION: A screw type electronic component has a structure that a conductive head part 12 and a terminal part 14, which are provided on both end parts of a non-conductive screw part 10, are connected with each other through a conductive rod-shaped connection part 16, and the rod-shaped connection part 16 is encircled with a conductive cylindrical member 18. A distributed constant inductance is formed in the rod-shaped connection part 16, a distributed constant capacitance is formed between the rod-shaped connection part 16 and the cylindrical member 18 and a low-pass filter is constituted. Thus, when a printed wiring board 20 and a shielded case body 30 are coupled with each other using this electronic component, both of the board 20 and the case body 30 result in being electrically connected with each other via the low-pass filter built in the electronic component.
