PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To enable the continuation of recording in a data recording section even if a long time is spent for a track jump or changing of a data recording medium in a data reproducing section during dubbing. SOLUTION: In CD synchronous dubbing, a CD-DA unit 110 successively reproduces assigned tracks and a CD-R unit 120 successively records the reproduced audio data obtained in the unit 110. The unit 110 runs once to a reproducing stop state when the unit makes track jumping or disk changing in the transfer to the nest track and runs to a reproduction standby state when the reproduction of the desired track is thereafter made possible. Further, the unit starts the reproduction after the prescribed time, for example, after two seconds. The unit 120 runs to a recording standby state when the unit 110 runs to the reproduction stop state and starts the recording by running to the recording state when the unit 110 runs to the reproduction standby state.
