PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a semiconductor memory device capable of reducing the area of LSI by suppressing the congestion of wiring of memories and the increase of the area by using a memory efficiently. SOLUTION: A memory space for storing a program is constituted by using a ROM 100 and RAM 101. A correction program stored in a FLASH memory 103 is stored in a RAM 101 without the control of a buffer 105 by a bus arbiter 104. Next, by the control of the buffer 105 by the arbiter 104, the program in the memory space constituted by the ROM 100 and RAM 101 is read by a CPU 102.
