PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To simply and surely describe time management in a state transition diagram. SOLUTION: In the state transition diagram, the effective range of a timer is described with a frame consisting of a line kind different from that of frames showing respective states and a timer is described inside of the frame showing the effective range of the timer. Thus, description concerning the timer in transition is simplified.
