PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a color cathode-ray tube device, capable of minimizing the deterioration of horizontal deflection power even using a sub-coil for correcting coma convergence or correcting coma misconvergence changing depending on horizontal or vertical deflection. SOLUTION: The color cathode-ray tube device comprises a six-pole coil 14, for generating a magnetic field having a difference between a force working in a first axial direction on parallel center beams in the first axial direction and a force on a pair of side beams, and a bypass coil 20, connected in parallel to the six-pole coil N6p, is selected an approximate value of (Lb/k6p)(1/2), where k6p is the constant of an inductance L6p of the six-pole coil proportional to the average number of turns of N6p2 and Lb is an inductance of the bypass coil.
