PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a damage restoring device for a recording part capable of easily restoring the damage of the recording part for an information processor. SOLUTION: The device for restoring the damage of the recording part for the information processor provided with a nonvolatile recording part with OS, a system program, etc., recorded therein is provided with a program recording part with the OS, the system program, etc., recorded in the recording part, a damaged area skipping part for skipping writing and reading of data to an area recorded as the damaged area of the recording part, and a restoring part which starts the device by using data recorded in the program recording part and judges the presence/absence of the damage in the recording part to record the damaged area in the damage area skipping part in the case of the presence and to read data recorded in the program recording part to record it in the recording part.
