The use of glycine betaine to eliminate physiopathological vascular diseases and as an anticoagulant for blood preservation. Glycine betaine has a preventing activity in the pathogenesis of thromboembolic and hemostatic diseases of arterial or venous origin by inhibiting the formation of thrombi. Glycine betaine has a curative activity by inhibiting the proliferation of thrombi by eliminating them. Glycine betaine does not present any risk of haemorrhage or allergy unlike molecules and treatments currently used.
