PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent the precipitation of solid matter in the mixture slurry from becoming fast and enable making a uniform pole plate in applying a mixture slurry which contains active material capable of string and discharging lithium irreversibly on the current collector. SOLUTION: This manufacturing method of an electrode for non-aqueous electrolyte secondary battery having a step in which a mixture slurry containing active material capable of storing and discharging of lithium irreversibly, organic solvent and thixotropic fluid is prepared, and a step to apply the mixture slurry on the current collector.
