PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a digital camera device capable of preventing the deterioration of the S/N of a photographed picture even when there is no stroboscopic light emission in photographing with small light quantity. SOLUTION: This digital camera device is provided with a solid image pickup device 12 for converting the incident optical image of a subject into an analog picture signal, an amplifier circuit 15 for amplifying the output of the solid image pickup device 12 with an amplification factor corresponding to the incident light quantity, an A/D converting circuit 16 for converting the output of the amplifier circuit 15 into digital picture data, and devices 17-20 for applying prescribed signal processing to the output of the A/D converting circuit 16, and recording the processed result in a flash ROM 22. In this case, band restriction by an LPF 26 capable of switching frequency response characteristics according to the amplification factor of the amplifier circuit 15 is applied to the digital image data outputted from the A/D converting circuit 16. |
