PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a motor controller 11 for controlling the conduction current of a motor 2 by controlling the switching of a power element 7 built in a power converting semiconductor 10 in which controllability is enhanced by detecting the value of a current flowing through the motor 2 with high reliability and high accuracy. SOLUTION: A current sensor 26 having resistive characteristics is employed for detecting the current flowing through a motor 2 and a temperature sensor 25 is built a power converting semiconductor 10 in the proximity of the current sensor 26. Date compensating for variation in the characteristics of the current sensor 26 due to temperature variation is prestored in a storage section 22 and, at the time of control operation, a sensed value from the current sensor 26 is corrected using the compensation data stored in the storage section 22 based on a temperature sensed by the temperature sensor 25 and a current value is calculated. |
