PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a system and a method, by which a lead time required for negotiations and order reception in a sales business is shortened to improve efficiency and also market information is efficiently collected. SOLUTION: The electronic catalogs of sales merchandises are generated at the side of a selling enterprise, a server system 1 automatically collects the electronic catalogs and a purchase enterprise requests the retrieval of the catalog of a merchandise to a retrieving function 2 to receive a retrieval result. The estimation of a merchandise desired to be purchased is requested to an estimating function 3 and the function 3 gives the answer of the merchandise estimation or a person in charge of sales at the sales enterprise side inputs the contents of the estimation answer to give the answer. When the purchase enterprise receives the estimation answer and performs ordering, ordering data is transmitted to an ordering function 4. The ordering function 4 transfers ordering data to the side of the sales enterprise as prescribed electronic transaction information, receives delivery date information and shipping situations outputted from the side of the sales enterprise, stores them in a database and displays a delivery data answer or the shipping situations in accordance with the request of the purchase enterprise. |
