<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To test to calculate a regulated value of an A-D converter 3 having a good regulating accuracy in a short time. SOLUTION: An excitation controller for a synchronous generator comprises a simulation signal generator 17 contained in an excitation controller 1 to generate a simulation signal and used to calculate a regulated value of a characteristic error in an A-C converter 3, an input transformer 19 for regulating so that a level of the signal input to the converter 3 becomes a range of the input level of the converter 3, an amplifier 18 for amplifying the signal from the generator 17 to input the signal to the transformer 19, an electric amount arithmetic unit 5 for calculating an electric amount, a regulated value arithmetic unit 7 for calculating a regulated value S for regulating an error generated at the converter 3, an electric amount regulator 6 for regulating the amount calculated by the unit 5 based on the amount S calculated by the unit 7, and an automatic voltage regulator 8 for outputting an exciting signal of the generator based on the amount regulated by the regulator 6.</p> |
