<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To solve the problem of an energy storage device having conventional structure that starting torque is zero at startup and the exciting current value is excessively low at low speed and too high at high speed. SOLUTION: This device is provided with a rotor 17 which rotates relatively to a stator 16 and includes a third winding 22, a fourth winding 33, and a rectifying circuit 34; and a flywheel driven by the rotor 17. The third winding 22 is magnetically coupled with the second winding 20, an input to the rectifying circuit 34 is connected to the third winding 22 and an output from the rectifying circuit 34 is connected to the fourth winding 33. It is thus possible to form the energy storage device capable of producing a starting torque and flexibly change magnetic flux developed by the fourth winding 33.</p> |
