The invention relates to a set of metal section bars meant for manufacturing door and window frames. According to the invention, the set of metal section bars comprises an interior section bar (7) and an exterior section bar (8) interconnected by means of some connecting walls (9) comprising some teeth (11) connected to the interior and exterior section bars (7 and 8) by means of some weakening lines (14), and some strips (12) connected to the teeth (11) by means of other weakening lines (13), said section bars (7 and 8) being also provided with some longitudinal recesses (18) formed by one tooth (11) one rigid ridge (15) and one back wall (16), the exterior section bar (8) comprising at least one fin (21) connected to one of the back walls (16) by means of a connecting wing (23) protruding outwardly so as to form a chamber (19) for aeration and for collection of the water existing in the vicinity of the fin (21).
