PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a key input device capable of inputting Japanese with a small number of keys, efficient and easy operation and its input method. SOLUTION: Five vowels are directly inputted by vowel keys 2a1 to 2a5 to be constituted of five keys. In addition, as for characters including consonants, a kind unvoiced consonant, voiced consonant, semi-voiced consonant) of sound of a consonant to be inputted is first specified by a unvoiced consonant key 2c1, a voiced consonant key 2c2, a semi-voiced consonant key 2c3 and its input is started. After the sound of the consonant is specified by the keys, a vowel stage is specified by the vowel keys 2a, then the specified vowel stage is scanned by a selection key 2h, and a desired character is selected and inputted. |
