PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To solve a problem due to the fact that a motor circuit cannot be protected because a reset signal cannot be generated from a pulse cut out circuit and a drive off signal cannot be generated from an off signal generating circuit due to chattering at the time of abnormality. SOLUTION: When a motor is operating normally, different pulse signals obtained by processing Hall input signals of a plurality of phases from respective motor circuits 10 are applied to the input terminal and the reset terminal of a latch circuit 13 and an output signal is generated therefrom. A pulse cut out circuit 14 cuts out the edge part of the output signal thus generated to generate a reset signal RP. When the motor is operating normally, an operating state detecting circuit 11 is held in the initial state by the reset signal RP and when the motor is locked, the operating state detecting circuit 11 is varied to generate a drive off signal OFF thus disabling operation of the motor circuit 10. |
